About Research Conference

The Rachana Design Research Conference brings together students, academicians, researchers, scholars, professionals, and practitioners from the fields of art, architecture, interior design, planning, product design, filmmaking, visual arts, and other allied creative disciplines.

The conference provides a vibrant platform to understand how design shapes the way we live, think, connect, and innovate. It encourages participants to explore the evolving world of art and design, where traditional knowledge meets emerging technologies to inspire fresh ideas, meaningful collaborations,and practical solutions for real-world challenges.

Through engaging discussions, interdisciplinary exchange, research paper presentations, and creative reel showcases, the conference celebrates innovation, creativity, and the power of design to create a better future.

Publication in Scopus-indexed conference proceedings is proposed for selected peer reviewed papers.

Research Paper Submission Format

Authors are requested to prepare and submit their research papers as per the prescribed format and conference guidelines. The paper format is provided below as a downloadable .doc file. Please use the given template while preparing your submission.

Conference Registration & Fees

1. Paper Presentation:

a. The author/ co-author presenting the paper must register under the Paper Presentation category and pay the applicable registration fee.

b. Co-authors: Co-authors who wish to attend the conference but are not presenting the paper may register under the Spectators category and pay the applicable fee.

2. Reels:

a. Participants presenting reels must register under the Reels category and pay the applicable registration fee.

b. Individuals attending the conference without presenting a paper or reel may register under the Spectator category.

3. General:

a. Each registration is individual and non-transferable.

b. A single registration fee covers one paper/one reel per author/creator.

c. Authors/creator submitting more than one paper/reel are required to pay a separate registration fee for each additional paper/reel.

d. Registration will be confirmed only after successful verification of the payment and submitted details.

e. For any registration and payment related queries, mail to rsconf@rachanasansad.edu.in with the subject line: RDRC Registration related.

RS Founders Day Commemorative Lecture

The Rachana Sansad Founders Day Commemorative Lecture brings together the essence of the 70+ years' old Institute's dynamic culture of creativity through the communication and the power of ideas. An inspiring conversation with India’s most distinctive voices in a tradition of thought-provoking sessions. As part of the annual RS Founders Day celebrations, the speakers will provoke creative thinking and imagination which is the spirit of Rachana Sansad.

We are honoured to welcome Shri Bharat Dabholkar, a renowned advertising professional, playwright, theatre director, actor, and filmmaker, as the Speaker for the Rachana Sansad Founders Day Commemorative Lecture.

With a career spanning advertising, theatre, and cinema, he is known for his distinctive storytelling, creative communication, and keen understanding of popular culture. His work reflects the power of creativity to challenge conventions, connect with audiences, and shape conversations.
